A new Sentinel Interceptor Starship has made its way to No Man's Sky along with other exciting features like corrupted planets, new robotic guardians, resources, and freighters. As always, players are pretty eager to get their hands on this new Sentinel Interceptor Starship.
However, No Man's Sky doesn't mention the process to obtain this new Starship, which is why many players are having a hard time unlocking it. Therefore, this guide covers all the essential steps to acquire Sentinel Interceptor Starship in No Man's Sky.
How To Get Sentinel Interceptor Starship in No Man’s Sky
The first step towards getting a Sentinel starship is obtaining a Dissonant system. To do this, open up your Galaxy map and look for the water icon. Once you see it, that means you have found a Dissonant system. Next, you will need to find a planet with Corrupted Sentinels.
The best way to do this is by landing on a planet and shooting a Sentinel. This will aggravate the other Sentinels, leading to a hefty battle. Make sure you have a good multi-tool with you that has some good upgrades to start this battle.
After starting the fight, you will need to disturb the Sentinels. To do this, shoot the Dissonant Resonator, which looks like a drill.
This will aggravate the other Sentinels and start the battle. At this point, you have to tackle five waves, with each wave getting more challenging than the last. Once you have defeated the Sentinels on the fifth wave, you will automatically trigger the mission to fight the ship.
It's important to note that you will not disable Sentinels on this planet by killing all the waves. This will just restart the waves, and you will return to wave 1. To deactivate the Sentinels on a planet, you will need to find one of the Central pillars and deactivate the corrupted Sentinels.
After completing a complete wave, you will receive the location of a Dissonance Spike, which will give you the location of a Sentinel Starship. You're more likely to find the ship in a damaged state, so you will need to remove all the debris to get inside.
Before exploring the vast universe in No Man's Sky, you must first repair your ship. If you find the mysterious Sentinel species intriguing, acquiring an Interceptor Ship is worth acquiring for its unique co*ckpit design.
If you defeat the five Sentinel waves but receive a "Nothing Found" message, you'll need to search for the starship on another desolate planet by repeating the same steps. While Interceptor ships have their own unique technologies, they can still benefit from standard starship upgrades to improve their performance. In addition, every new starship you acquire features a distinct co*ckpit design and flight model tailored to planetary conditions.
You will need three radiant shards, one inverted mirror, and one harmonic brain to fly the ship. The inverted mirror is obtained from the Descendant Resonator. The radiant shards can be found by looking around with your scanner, and the harmonic brain can be made using the Highline Brain.
